Will he stay or will he go?
Jack Wilshere has received an “improved offer” to stay at Arsenal with his contract due to run out at the end of the current season.
Arsene Wenger revealed that the 26-year-old had been offered a new long-term deal with the club at a press conference two weeks ago, but the offer was reported to be a £20,000 per week pay-cut from his current contract and so a stand-off ensued.
However, now the Gunners have upped their offer from £90,000 per week to over £100,000 per week in the hope of reaching an agreement, according to the Mirror.
Wilshere is also the subject of multiple offers from other clubs who are hoping to sign him as a free agent. They would additionally try to lure him with large signing-on fees.
Newly-promoted Wolves are rumoured to be one of these sides as are Everton and Milan.
